Scholarship & Student Credit Card Related Committee
The Scholarship & Student Credit Card Related Committee is constituted to facilitate and monitor students’ access to various scholarship schemes and student credit card/education loan facilities. The committee provides guidance and support to eligible students, ensures proper documentation and timely submission of applications, and coordinates with concerned government departments, banks, and other agencies.
Objectives
- To ensure that eligible students are aware of and able to access available scholarship schemes and Student Credit Card facilities.
- To promote financial assistance for students to pursue higher education without financial barriers.
- To facilitate proper documentation, verification, and timely submission of applications.
- To monitor the progress of applications and help resolve issues faced by students.
- To create awareness about eligibility criteria, benefits, deadlines, and procedures related to financial assistance schemes.
Functions of Scholarship & Student Credit Card Related Committee
- To disseminate information about available scholarships and Student Credit Card schemes.
- To identify and guide eligible students in applying for financial assistance.
- To assist students in completing application forms and required documentation.
- To verify and forward applications to the appropriate authorities within the stipulated time.
- To maintain proper records of scholarship and Student Credit Card applications and beneficiaries.
