B.Sc. in Emergency Medical Technology (Formerly Known as BCCT) is a total four-year undergraduate allied health science program designed to prepare students for the rapid assessment, stabilization, and management of critically ill and injured patients in emergency settings. The program combines comprehensive theoretical knowledge with extensive hands-on clinical training in emergency departments, intensive care units (ICUs), trauma centers, ambulances, and disaster management services. Students gain expertise in basic and advanced life support, trauma care, airway management, cardiac emergency response, patient monitoring, and the operation of emergency medical equipment. Graduates are equipped to work as Emergency Medical Technologists in hospitals, trauma and critical care units, ambulance services, disaster response teams, and pre-hospital emergency care systems, playing a vital role in improving patient survival and outcomes through timely and efficient emergency interventions.
