Curriculum Committee
The Curriculum Committee is a college governance committee responsible for reviewing curriculum proposals and revisions. Its aim is to ensure that students acquire knowledge, skills, attitude, and behaviour to become excellent medical professionals.
Objectives
- Establish the goals of completion of Curriculum by monitoring all aspects of it
- Ensure competency coverage throughout all paramedical programmes
- Maintain vertical and horizontal integration across subjects
- Conduct periodic curriculum evaluation and feedback-based improvements
Functions of Curriculum Committee
- Develop academic calendars and clinical rotation plans
- Ensure instructional resource adequacy for all departments
- Identify and resolve curriculum gaps and problems
- Gather feedback from students, alumni, and industry stakeholders
- Support teaching-learning facilitation and faculty development
- Advance institutional growth through course expansion
- Review programmes for relevance and currency with industry standards
- Ensure compliance with WBUHS and DME accreditation guidelines
