Hostel Committee
The Hostel Committee is responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and disciplined functioning of the college hostel. The committee works for the welfare, safety, and overall well-being of hostel residents.
Objectives
- To ensure a safe, secure, hygienic, and disciplined hostel environment.
- To safeguard the health, welfare, and well-being of hostel residents.
- To ensure proper maintenance of hostel facilities and infrastructure.
- To address students’ complaints, grievances, and accommodation-related concerns promptly.
- To promote mutual respect, cooperation, and a positive residential atmosphere among students.
Functions of Hostel Committee
- Maintaining discipline and a peaceful environment in the hostel.
- Monitoring cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and maintenance.
- Addressing students’ complaints, grievances, and accommodation-related issues.
- Ensuring proper implementation of hostel rules and regulations.
- Supervising hostel facilities such as food, water, electricity, security, and common areas.
- Promoting student safety and coordinating during emergencies.
