About the Scholarship
One of the most prestigious state scholarships, the Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship is awarded by the Government of West Bengal to meritorious students from economically weaker sections pursuing higher education.
Eligibility Criteria
• Minimum 60% marks in Class XII (for freshers) or last qualifying exam (for renewal) • Annual family income below ₹2,50,000 • Domicile of West Bengal • Enrolled in a recognised institution in West Bengal.
How to Apply
- Visit the official portal: https://svmcm.wbhed.gov.in
- Keep your admission details, mark sheets, income / caste certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar and bank account details ready.
- After submitting online, get your application verified by the institution through the Student Welfare Cell at KBIHER.
