The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program at KBIHER, Medinipur is a four-and-a-half-year undergraduate course that prepares students for a rewarding career in rehabilitation and movement science.
Program Structure
The BPT program spans eight semesters (four years) followed by a six-month compulsory rotating clinical internship. Students progress from foundational anatomy and physiology to advanced clinical specialisations including Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy, Neurological Rehabilitation, Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy, Paediatric Physiotherapy, and Community Rehabilitation.

After BPT — What Next?
BPT graduates can pursue Masters in Physiotherapy (MPT) with specialisation, or begin their professional careers immediately in hospital-based physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, corporate wellness programmes, independent practice, and academic roles.
